This film explores the relationship between memory and human soul. Our memory is an accumulation of daily life. If someone changes or takes it away from you, perhaps everything you have including family and identity will be marked by someone else's idea. With a blank mind, what will human be like? Will our nature change without memory? maybe not. Even though memory experiences change every so often, people can subconsciously store part of it within---that's what we call "soul". With this soul, we remain more firm in love and faith. Soul can never be stolen by others and can lead us to the origin of love. Soul exists in the deep heart instead of physical brain. John Murdoch lets us know that sun will rise when everything comes to an end through his act. There are many scenes in the movie that describes a situation ends up in hopes while beginning in a cold and confusing way. No matter how world changes, we should always trust our soul and love for no one can take them away from you.
