我选择c是因为我觉得既然这个cultivating和前面的mining并列,cultivating前面的and就可以省略了.
比如：The dog fancies pork and cola.不用说 The dog fancies pork and fancies cola.

首先,如果是mining and cultivating的话那么两个词是并列关系,mining the land显然说不通.其次其实这个题想考的是三者并列,即by…by…and by…所以确实是选A的,sat语法里其实要看意思的并不多,一套题里最多两三个,所以不用考虑意思的问题.而且如果做题多了就会习惯性地选A而不会去考虑c选项.
