(1) 需要加 定冠词 the
( 2) over 做副词时,多用于修饰形容词, 或放在某一动词前做为前缀构成新的单词 -- 但也不是随便组成,over+depend 就没有这个构成（但有 overdependency 这个名词）== 这里的 over 应该改为 excessively)
(3）with 用在这里不合适：with 后面的部分应该和 excessively depend on importation 并列,否则,这句话的意思就成了“由于失去了对市场的控制而过于依赖进口” == 所以 with gradual loss 应该改为 and to gradually lose the control of the market.
依我所见,这个句子应该改为（本人意见,仅供参考）：

Imported 应用主动形式
Imported 改成importing 并不是进口的商品本身引起整个问题 而是进口货物这个行为做法 所以应该用动名词形式
还有一句话 有几个错误啊
control后面 我感觉应该用of 不是on
