Vacuum cleaning
The vacuum cleaning system will be equipped with a mobile cleaner,
vacuum tubes collectors along each elevated conveyor, flexible tubes
connections, vacuum flexible tubes and suction pipes as well as suction
and treatment installations in each building and each transfer tower.
The collector’s layout, the location and spacing of the suction nozzle
flexible connection are detailed by the Bidder. The system must be able to
handle the specified coal.
The mobile suction unit, supplied by the Contractor, will be equipped with a
vacuum pump of a capacity of 140 m3/min under a pressure of 0.5 bar. It
must be able to carry a solid load of 450 to 1 100 kg/h.
The vacuum collector segmentation is to be specified by the Bidder. The
vacuum mobile vehicle flexible connections have to be made at the end of
each collector on a single flow direction. The piping right course will be
done with abrasion resistant pipes, in silicate-aluminium or in galvanized
carbon steel, with a thickness of 14-gauge. The collector did not have a
diameter less than 150 mm. The truck’s hose clamps have to be 200 mm
tapered socket connectors to match at the truck’s hose adapter, and they
will be placed vertically to provide the gravity flow inside the collector
truck. The pipe must have a length of about 6 m, the sections will be
connected by a quick coupling and by gaskets for vacuum service. Folds
must be made with a slight hole, a rubber tuning and a radius of curvature
of at least 900 mm.
