Good afternoon, dear professors! I’m very happy to be here with all of you. Thank you for giving me such a great opportunity to introduce myself.
My name isXXX and I’m from XX, a rich cultural history city in the center of Zhejiang province. Now I’m a senior student at XXXX. I major inXXX. As a college student, study is the most important task for me. In the past four years, I have won the scholarship many times and other awards for my excellent performance. I have passed CET-6 easily and have acquired basic knowledge of machine design and manufacture.
As a student with many interests, apart from obtaining specialized knowledge, I also take an active part in various campus activities, which help to enrich my knowledge, widen my horizons and teach me how to cooperate with others. In my spare time, I like reading, listening to music and doing sports. Tennis and badminton are my favorite sports. These make my college life colorful and also enable me to learn how to make a balance between study and relaxation.
Frankly speaking, I’m a hard working student especially when I make up my mind to do something. I like my major very much. So far I have acquired some basic knowledge about it. With a definite goal and strong determination, I will strive to be a creative and independent person in this field. I’m confident that I’ll succeed in my future study and research work.
Four years' university education gives me a lot of things to learn, a lot of chances to try, and a lot of practices to improve myself. It teaches me not only what to study but also how to think.
Today, I’m here to fight for a chance to be a member of this great university. If I luckily got the chance to learn XXX in this academe, I will concentrate myself on the study and research work with the help of the supervisors and classmates. I promise that I would never let you down.
