two guys are cutting earth and searching for gold mine at the same time.The one below is faster,and much closer to the gold mine,just a thin wall's distance.But he just could not insist and give up at the gate of success.
In our actual life,we are all working hard to reach our goal,to get to the dreaming university,to get a customer,to get a big order,to get a higher position.We have been working so hard for a long time,but we can't yet reach the sucess.The we feel disappointed and will give up easily.Actually,maybe the sucess is just very close to us.

from the picture, we can see the man is cut earth in a cave to try to find gold mine. He works so hard, and probably has been doing this for a very long time. But unfortunately, when he almost touches the edge of the gold mine, he gives up. Even though he can see the gold if he can cut a little further more.
we can learn from the picture that we shall never give up when we look forward our life-aim in our lives. Sometimes maybe we work a little hard so as to get our success before we want to stop. If we set an goal of life, we really need keep doing on it, harder and harder, and never give up.
