Introduction
This report sets out to compare environmental performance over the last four years with targets for next year.
Waste reduction
Although non-hazardous waste increased initially,due to by-products produced by the new processing system.It has fallen steadily since then.However,next year’s target level is unlikely to be achieved.
In contrast,the introduction of a new waste processing system enabled us to reduce hazardous waste to target levels three years ago.
Energy efficiency
Energy consumption has decreased steadily and it seems likely that target levels will be reached by next year
Conclusion
In conclusion,the measures taken have led to significant environmental improvements.It is expected that most targets will be achieved or exceeded by next year.
