命题规律：考研英语一、英语二都未曾考察；询问信，相对而言是一种比较特殊的书信。尤其是作文的第二段，需要"不停地发问"来询问相关的信息。考生应该熟练地运用特殊疑问句的句型，顺利流畅地完成这种类型的作文。常用的一些 疑问句式包括：

I am most interested in whether …我很有兴趣想知道是否…

I would like to be informed whether I can ...我想知道是否我可以…

what…do I need to…? 做…我需要…?

命题规律：2012 年英语二考察一次(请参见官方高分范文)

写作策略：投诉信仅在 2012年的考研英语(二)考察过一次，近几年的命题频率不高。也正因如此，考生应该重点准备，尤其是英语(一)因为从没有考察过，反而更加应该关注和重视。投诉信主要在于投诉对某物的不满，或者对某个过程的不满，描述细节。难点在于，考生考前可以准备投诉信这种类型的题目，但是如果真题果真考察投诉信，投诉的内容发生变化，考生又应该现场发挥写作。
